Pilo Adami; Brazilian born and based in the UK for the past 15 years. My professional musical journey began shortly after moving to the UK as a touring and session musician on stages around the world with talented artists such as Nubiyan Twist, Nick Mulvey, Blanco White, Andrew Ashong and Rosie Turton. Educated at Leeds College of Music, I’ve honed a diverse skill set that includes recording, songwriting, producing, music directing and mixing/mastering, all deeply influenced by genres like world music, folk, hip hop, R&B and everything in between.
My career is marked by memorable performances such as live sessions at Abbey Road Studio 2 (Malena Zavala), an intimate set for the YouTube channel La Blogothèque (Nick Mulvey), a vibrant show on the West Holts stage at the legendary Glastonbury Festival (Nubiyan Twist), and an appearance on the acclaimed TV show Jools Holland (Nubiyan Twist). A career highlight includes contributing vocals to the “Blue Note Re:imagined” collection from Blue Note Records, legendary record label with artists such as Miles Davis in their back catalogue.
In the studio, my roles as songwriter, producer, music director and recording/mixing engineer intersect. Some of the artists I have worked with incude: Blanco White, Harrison Storm, Beatenberg, and Lea Kay. More recently I started producing music specifically for sync projects. Some of my clients inclued ‘Red Bull’ for their “Red Bull’s 2025 BC One” and with prominent music production library BMG.
Each project is an opportunity to explore and refine my approach for musical creativity.
Looking forward, I aim to continue collaborating with inspiring artists and seek out new challenges that push the boundaries of my creativity and understanding. Music is a journey, and each project brings new opportunities to learn and connect with individuals in person and audiences around the world.
